STLi was founded by Jan Wedlock in 1986 as Sky's The Limit, a presentation design and desktop publishing company. Over the years, we've grown up with technology, eventually moving from print design to interactive CD-ROM, touchscreen kiosk, and web design. In 2008 we changed our name to reflect our increasing focus on web development.
Our current team of designers and programmers has been working together since 1999. Each of our developers has knowledge of a wide range of digital media including graphic design, server and client side programming, database design, and server hardware. Our background in developing creative interfaces for CDs and touchscreens gives us the edge when designing websites that seamlessly combine function and form.
In addition, STLi has a great reputation for responsiveness. Most requests are taken care of within 24 hours. We do not sub-contract or outsource any of our work, including customer support. When any of our clients have a question, need their site updated, or require technical suppport, they know they can easily reach a core team member and receive a timely, helpful response.
Much of our work in the past 15 years has been related to transportation management and air quality issues. We've done projects for the Sacramento Air Quality Management District, California Air Resources Board, Cleaner Air Partnership, California DMV, the California Fuel Cell Partnership, and 511 Rideshare. We have ongoing Web development contracts with four Transportation Management Associations (TMAs) in the area, and for 13 years developed and maintained SACOG's popular Commuter Club and May is Bike Month sites.
We have produced award-winning interactive outreach projects for the North Natomas Transportation Management Association, McNally Temple & Associates, Hangers on the Boulevard, and the Sacramento Air Quality Management District.
With hundreds of successful projects under our belt, it's no wonder STLi's reputation as Sacramento's leading interactive media company stands after over 38 years in business.
